ACCOMMODATION & MEALS

Accommodation at the Pottery is €30 per night (self-catering style with'start-up' breakfast). The accommodation is of a very high standard either in 'The Farmhouse' adjacent to the pottery or in 'The Loft' above the pottery.

The Farmhouse consists of 4 charming bedrooms.There are 2 bathrooms with bath/shower. The kitchen is traditional in style with an Aga type stove. It is very well equipped (with dish-washer, microwave etc.) and there is a cosy living room with a wood stove. In The Loft there are 2 double bedrooms and one single, with a washbasin and hand-built furniture in every room, and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen/living room is very comfortable with cosy armchairs and a wood stove.

Students have breakfast in their respective abodes. There is a tea/coffee break at 11. A substantial lunch is provided throughout the course. Some evening meals are provided for certain courses. The meals are 'family style', taken together in the Farmhouse or the New House or, weather permitting, 'al fresco' in our beautiful gardens. The Cuisine is of a contemporary international nature, often vegetarian.

Our meals are freshly prepared daily, using local produce (organic where possible) and Irish specialty foods. The atmosphere is convivial and relaxing. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.
