Directions from Dublin:
From the Airport take the M50 Southbound. You will go through a toll plaza after 25 minutes or so. You must look out for the turn left ( the second) off the M50 soon after the Toll bridge, following the signs for Limerick/Cork. N7.

You come to a large roundabout (The Red Cow Roundabout)- take the direction for Limerick (N7). Keep on the N 7 (you are on the road south). You will bypass Kildare and Portlaoise. Soon after Portlaoise look for the turn off for Cork (N8). Follow the N8 road now. You will go through Abbeyleix (There's a really nice pub there called Morrisseys... good for a stop!) and you will eventually by-pass Cashel. The next town is Cahir. You leave the N8 now. Go into Cahir. Look (or ask !) for the turn off for "The Vee". (This is a gap in the mountains which will bring you to Lismore). You will go through Ballyloobey and Clogheen, two small towns.
Follow the signs for The Vee from Clogheen and you will eventually come to Lismore.

From Lismore drive straight through the town and stay on the N72 until you have passed a Toyota Garage on your right. Take the next turn on the right which is signposted for "Glencairn". Continue straight on and you will pass '
Pastis Bistro at the Glencairn Inn.

Proceed on for 500 metres and as the road bends you will see a narrow lane/road on the left. Take this left turn and go over the small bridge, you will find the house after 1 km on your left. The drive has a sign for Glencairn Pottery.

Directions from Cork:
From the airport take the ring road north-bound, direction Dublin. You will go under 'The Tunnel'. Directly after that there is a roundabout. Go straight through, direction Dublin (second turn left after tunnel). About 20 minutes later, after the Watergrass Hill by-pass you will see a sign for Tallow./Midleton on your right. Take this turn right. About 100 metres later there is a slightly hidden turn to your left for Tallow. Take this turn. This is now a straight 20 minute drive to Tallow on quite narrow country roads.

When you get to Tallow turn left for Lismore, go over the bridge at The Bride View pub. Turn right, direction Lismore. You will climb a hill (N72). At the top of the hill there are two roads to the left.  Take the second one which is signed for Glencairn. After about 3 kilometres or so you will come to a T junction, just opposite the gates for St. Mary's Abbey.

Turn left here. You will pass Pastis Bistro at the Glencairn Inn. Proceed on for 500 metres and as the road bends you will see a narrow lane/road on the left. Take this left turn and go over the small bridge, you will find the house after 1 km on your left. The drive has a sign for Glencairn Pottery.
