Thank you both for a fantastic week. You, Joan, for your excellent cooking which I was longing for every day. And you, Marcus, for your generosity in sharing your skills and creativity. I go back to Sweden full of new ideas.

This has been a great week! I enjoyed learning from you - watching you throw, hearing about your approach to style and form. The "volcano" kiln was an experience! Thanks Marcus. Your pottery and home are in a wonderful setting - the old buildings, Glencairn pastures and hills. An inspiring location. Thank you Joan and Marcus for your hospitality Lee Middleman, California, USA

`Marcus and Joan et al thank you for a wonderful week. Great potting, wonderful food, spectacular views. And what can one say about the firing par excellence. We will return.

My work is mainly wheel-thrown functional reduction stoneware which is decorated by drawing, combing, stamping and facetting into the wet clay. I also make sculptural pit-fired and salt-fumed vessels which have been widely shown by the Crafts Council of Ireland.
